• I've heard about or seen a show advertised, but you don't have it listed on your web site. Why not?   [top]
  
  
  We only post confirmed shows on the Upcoming Shows page, and we get our information from The Tubes Management. If you hear of a show that we don't have listed, it's because The Tubes Management does not consider the show confirmed.

  It is quite possible that the gig will eventually be confirmed, but it is also possible that the show will not be confirmed and the band will not perform at that advertised event.

  Bottom line: When a show is confirmed, it will be posted on the Upcoming Shows page and announced in The Tubes Inner Circle Newsletter. If a show doesn't eventually get posted on the Upcoming Shows page, it's not going to happen!



• Where can I buy tickets to an upcoming Tubes show?   [top]
  
  
  When a show is posted on the web site, we include the information that's available at that time, i.e. web site URL, venue address, phone number, ticket purchase info, etc.. In many cases, more event information becomes available after a show has been posted, and then the Upcoming Shows page is updated. So, if a show has been announced and you don't see the information that you need, check back for updates or contact the venue directly.

  Folks in the US can purchase Tubes T-shirts from the Merch page.

  In addition, Tubes T-shirts are typically available for purchase at Tubes shows. So, don't spend all your money on drinks, save some for a shirt!

  Tubes CD's are available at most retail CD outlets. You can also buy Tubes CD's from the e-tailers listed on our Links page.


• Where can I find "Young & Rich" on CD?   [top]
  
  
  "Young & Rich" was released by A&M on CD in 1988, but it is now out of print.

  However, in 2003, all of the "Young & Rich" tracks were released on the CD "White Punks on Dope".

  We've heard that it's on the "Premium Gold" compilation CD, but we haven't been able to get a copy of the CD to verify.

  "Rock and Roll Hospital" is not available on CD. That song is on a double-LP bootleg/promo called "The Tubes in Rock & Roll Hospital". We've seen 2 versions, one pressed on black vinyl and the other on bloodwax vinyl. Where can you find the booleg? Sorry, we can't help you with that one.

  • The Wild West Show DVD is available in the PAL format. This format will play on European DVD players and multi-format players. Check to see if your DVD player will accept the PAL format.
    
    In addition, a number of computer DVD applications will play mulitple formats. There is a database on a Tubes Yahoo!Group that shows some Platform/OS/DVD applications that will play the DVD. Go to the Database section of this Tubes Yahoo!Group for more information.

  We're not in a position to send autographed photos of the band. However, the band generally signs autographs after a performance, so take a CD insert or album cover and you might be able to get an autograph or two.
