MP3

The Tubes third A&M album from 1977. Originally the album came with 4 different back cover color schemes. The original vinyl also came with a 12x12 album sleeve featuring credits and thoughts from the band, including the first reference to the phrase "Suffer for Sound" later used for the unreleased 1980 album.

Until the Summer of 2004, this album had not been released in its entirety on CD. Some tracks were released on various compilation CDs including "T.R.A.S.H.", "Best Of Tubes - Millennium Collection" and "Goin' Down The Tubes"

TRIVIA: "My Head Is My Only House" is not the first time the Tubes have covered a Captain Beefheart track. During their 1976 show at the Shrine in Los Angeles they played his "Gimme Dat Harp" as a prelude to "Love Will Keep Us Together". The version of "Love Will Keep Us Together" is included on "T.R.A.S.H." without the Beefheart intro.
